Frame Breaker Plugin for WordPress
Here’s a little plugin I whipped out today as I was fiddling with some framesets. I noticed that there are a lot of sites that can still get stuck in frames. Let’s fix that!
WP Frame Breaker Overview
If you’re like me, then you don’t like having your site load up in a frameset on somebody else’s website. As an example, suppose a user does a Google image search and finds an image on your site. If the user clicks on the image, your site will load up in Google’s frameset.
This plugin will automatically insert a small chunk of JavaScript code into the <head> area of your WordPress theme. If your frame is loaded into a frameset, then the script will break your site out of the frame, making it the top document in the browser.

Installation Instructions
- Extract the downloaded plugin to /wp-content/plugins/
- Activate the plugin from the WordPress plugin admin page
